Valve Cable
My car doesn’t like to downshift when gas pedal is pressed.?
Car is a 97′ Buick LeSabre, 3800 series engine. Doesn’t have a throttle valve cable. If you let off the gas and depress it again eventually it will usually downshift. It also has a hesitation at around idle when driving (1500 rpms). Throttle Position Sensor code is tripping a check engine light, but recently replaced and still trips code. Any ideas anyone?
Idle air control sensor… check that.
I have an 02 V6 camaro with the same Drive By Wire BS throttle body
